Jackson’s Paving did a fantastic job of tearing out and repaving my 2600 square foot driveway. Their price was very reasonable, and the work was top-notch. Everyone on the crew was very friendly, super accommodating, and seemed happy in their work. One thing that really impressed me was that their bid calculated how many tons of asphalt my job would take. Then at the end they showed me the receipts from the asphalt plant detailing how many tons they actually did use. In my case, it took less than estimated, and I was given a $1200 credit for asphalt not needed, and dump fees not incurred. So my final bill was less than their bid. You don't get any more honest or transparent than that! I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and I give them my highest recommendation.

As a first time private road paving customer, I found meeting with 4 or 5 paving contractors to get bids very confusing. There are a lot of variables that drive cost, and rarely did I get a bid that was apples to apples. Working with Jack and Amy was different. They offered full transparency to the process and their costs. They were very patient in answering questions for me and my neighbors, returning to the site more than once. Very customer focused, good people. Not surprisingly, we were all thrilled with the results. Highly recommend.

Although we had a little hiccup with the original estimator, Amy was quick to fix the problem and hook us up with Gus who promptly estimated the job, then did the work in a timely and professional manner. Communication with the owners and the crew was excellent and we knew what to expect every step of the way. I was the spokesperson for 5 households who all share the same private roadway. We had deferred maintenance to deal with: "alligator" cracks in several places and the beginning of potholes. We knew it would be an expensive project but we did not want to overpay and we needed assurance that the big expense would be a solid investment. Jack of Jackson's came out and VERY patiently explained what he felt were our best options. The other two companies I'd gotten proposals from had proposed that we lay petromat over the damage and lay new asphalt on top. Jack advised us not to waste our money with that, as it's not a good solution on a hillside like we have. (The petromat eventually creeps downhill, creating more maintenance problems in the future.) Jack and his wife Amy, who runs the office, fielded many phone calls, emails and texts from me; they were always amiable and easy-going. They squeezed us into their schedule on short notice, showed up on time, and got the job done beautifully in a reasonable timeframe.

Not only did they properly advise us of the best solution and saved us future headaches & expense, they offered us the best price out of the 3 proposals. Invoices were easy to read and understand. I highly recommend them.

All the staff at Jackson's has been helpful in understanding what a solid road needs. They postponed the project once because of the humidity that came out of the ground which could compromise the new road. I really appreciated the honesty and transparence. When it came to starting the project, the crew was always eager to explain how and why they were doing such or such task and they even put our gate loop in! Fantastic result, thank you Jack!

We used Jackson to do repair work on our neighborhood driveway that is shared by six houses. Both Jack and Amy were a pleasure to deal with. When we changed what we wanted to do they were super friendly and came out to our place to redo the quote. The work they did was simply superb and beyond my expectations. In fact I would say it was not only more extensive regarding the repair sections but they also made sure that the sides were cut out before they filled the areas and it looks great. One of our neighbors wrote to me and said, "I love my new driveway!". The foreman and the crew were super nice and worked a very long day from 730 until about 6. I gave a tip to all 6 of them and they were very happy. I recommend Jackson tremendously. They are certainly top notch! Jeff D

We had a complicated necessary repair of our driveway of over 150 feet. Over the 25 years of ownership, this and that had been done to the driveway. After discussion with Jack Jackson, we could to a patch on an area here, an overlay on a section there and complete replacement where needed. It was a completely practical solution to uniting our driveway into a single thing. The crew was totally expert, devising solutions to all of my needs and not minding a “lookie-loo” seeing what they were doing over their shoulder.. Jack took over the actual paving, making sure that it meant his standards. To tell the truth, Ellie and I were off adventuring when the final uniting of all the elements occurred. We returned afterwards to a splendid sight of a great entrance to our home. Much thanks to Jackson Paving for the attention they gave to this project. Just a side note: I had additional small needs afterwards, and a few of the fellows came back to take care of things. Also, lastly, the price was completely reasonable. So glad to have picked them as our pavers.

I hired Jackson's Paving to pave a new asphalt driveway at my home in Sebastopol. Right away I got a very good feeling about the owner, Jack. He is very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He gave me all the information I needed to make my decision about hiring him. The project came out better than I imaged! I can't believe how great the driveway turned out. The Foreman and workers were friendly and helpful during the 4 days of construction. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

I needed a carport, driveway, and walkway paved. Jackson Paving was great. They responded to my request quickly. Jack came out a day or two later and had a quote ready a couple of days after that. The price was great.The work took two days - one day of layout, grading, and shaping and a second day of asphalt work. It looks better than I expected and could not be happier. Jack and his crew were some of the nicest and most professional people I've worked with and I am happy to recommend them.

Competitive rates and the right equipment for the job! Jack brought in a CAT Vibrating Soil Compactor to ensure a stable base after developing grade. All excess soil was spread and leveled to grade, and the job came out excellent! Jack ensures customer satisfaction and goes the extra mile.

Absolutely wonderful company! They mended and sealed my long driveway. Jack and Xavier explained exactly what needed to be done and gave details about the materials they would use. I know nothing about paving and asked questions galore. They were patient and answered my questions, over and over again. They even suggested questions I should ask other paving bidders, which was very helpful. Jack also offered to come back and talk with me more to clarify anything I was unclear about. The work they did was excellent! Everything as promised, timely, and no messes left behind. The work was also reasonably priced. It's very nice to feel confidence in a paving company and know that I will go back again when I need work done in the future.

This is my first review on yelp for a very long time. We bought a house 2 years ago that had a few big cracks in the driveway and a crumbling brick walkway. We realized that the driveway was beyond a patch job and that it was 30 years old, concrete poured with no reinforcement and that it was getting worse very quickly. Roots were starting to grow beneath it because water could get underneath, pushing it up. I wasn't sure we could afford a new driveway, but over a three month period, we started calling around trying to find someone we felt was honest, reliable and would do a good job at a reasonable price. There are more flakes out there than you can imagine...from the contractors we contacted, only half showed up to do an estimate. Some were very professional but unaffordable. Others gave good prices but seemed a bit shady or weren't licensed. Jackson Paving responded to our inquiry and immediately came over, gave a very fair estimate. We let it go for a few weeks because we weren't sure to do the walkway at the same time. When Jack called back a few weeks later to check in, we decided to go for repaving both the driveway and walkway at the same time. From start to finish, Jack was directly involved, consulted with his guys, and provided oversight to the whole project. He consulted with us on how we wanted the walkway done, and adjusted things accordingly. Over a few days, the front of our house was transformed from an old broken driveway with a dangerous trip hazard of a walkway into a beautiful matching concrete driveway and staircase. The guys even moved our sprinkler system and made sure it was working properly, even after we had paid for the job. Jack sent out an expert to look at it when I had a question just to make sure we were happy. I can't give Jackson Paving higher marks for their customer service, reasonable pricing and gorgeous work! We've gotten so many comments on how beautiful the work is from our friends and family!
